Congratulations - AB Stars Sian Tidley wins the AWMMC 2007 Under 21 yr old driver of the year award! Read her end of season review. In 2005 Andy Baker, AB Stars team principal and founder of AB Motorsport, decided to run a three car rally team throughout 2006, - the aptly titled AB Stars team was to consist of potential future British Rally Champions. This was a resounding success, with AB Stars Chris Reid taking the 2006 championship and AB Stars Stefan Davis coming second.
Chris Reid has been selected for the prestigious British Rally Academy backed by the Motor Sports Assocation, an incredible achievement considering only 12 competitors throughout the UK will benefit.
Andy Baker continues to share his hard earned knowledge and experience discovering rallying stars for the future. Last years team displayed the necessary attitude, ability, dedication and determination to succeed.
The AB Stars team will contest the 2008 Peugeot 205 Scholarship (a proven Championship receiving maximum exposure within a sensible budget), The Fiesta Sporting Trophy, the 2008 Richard Egger Insurance MSA Asphalt Rally Championship, the 2008 Legend Fires Epynt Challenge and Heart of England Asphalt Championship 2008.
